 About

Lissa grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Self-taught, she started her career as a commercial photographer in Los Angeles at the age of 19. In 1998 Lissa moved to New York where she began her fine art journey. After 9/11 she returned to Los Angeles. For many years, Lissa lived and worked in the largest artist colony in the country, the former Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery, in Los Angeles. Lissa worked extensively in commercial and fashion photography as well as both costume design and styling for photo shoots and music videos.

Lissa moved to Kalamazoo, but she still works and shows at her studio at The Brewery in Los Angeles. In addition to her fine art work she continues with commercial work in Michigan and on the West Coast.
